Jessie Arbogast Medical Fund
On July 6, 2001 8-year-old Jessie Arbogast was attacked by a seven-foot bull shark while swimming off the Florida panhandle. In the attack, Jessie's arm was severed, but after the shark was shot several times by a park ranger, the arm was pulled from the shark's gullet. Jessie's was flown to a nearby hospital and his arm was re-attached in an 11-hour operation. As you might expect, the Arbogast family has experienced a substantial financial hardship not only from hospital bills, but also loss of pay while staying by their son's side when Jessie was in the hospital. A medical fund was set up by Jessie's grandmother to help cover the mounting medical costs. Even though Jessie is at home, the bills continue to rise. They need our help. Therefore, I am asking you to help if you can.
