Hi Jimmo, i'm back... man it's good to browse this site again.
Well i stumbeled on this great project (or shall we call it assignment!)
called linux from scratch (probably old news to everybody here, but i was away for a while Wink ). Well i love the idea of building my own linux, it's a great way of learning the way a linux system actually works.
so i was wondering what are your thoughts jimmo about a newbie getting himself into such a challenge Smile . i was wondering if anyone is intrested in this too.... peace

Sure, why not. The whole process is well documented and it definately gives you a lot of insites into what is necessary to get a system up and running. Most people take a lot of things for granted, which you cannot when building a linux system from scratch.
